After graduating from University of Texas at Austin in 1980. I worked for several
construction and engineering firms in Texas and moved to Seattle area in 1987 to
work for two firms before going into business for myself in 1995. I have a welldiversified experience in design and construction which includes.
- Mid and high rise buildings such as Lamar financial center in Austin Texas which included a 30 story office building, a 15 story hotel and an 8.5 story parking garage. All structures were concrete and post tension slabs. Also seagull condominiums in corpus Christi Texas which was an all concrete and post tension slab structure. I was involved with many steel structures such as one million sq ft mall in Denver Colorado.
- Marine structures and construction, docking facilities, concrete and steel sheet piling and breasting structures in Corpus Christi Texas.
- Oil refinery structures in Corpus Christi Texas.
- Design, inspection and certifications of the Bellevue place complex. A high rise hotel, and two office buildings. All concrete and post tension slabs.
- Designed and built several power plants all over united states. Won several awards for innovative designs and construction methods that saved hundreds of thousands of dollars per project. In charge of all the civil, structural and architectural portions of the design and construction. We finished several design-build $100M power plant projects in one year.
After going in business for myself in 1995 I built many single family, multifamily, commercial, mixed used and land development projects under different entities I owned such as “Build America Inc.”, “Auria Inc.” and “Exclusive homes
Inc” before starting Meridian Inc. in 2009 with Dan O’Neill. Below are a few of
those projects.
